- Waterborne traffic regulation ensuring navigation safety in the under construction work site being of the VMSA II’s area of management.
- Shipping
- Loading, unloading of cargo at the port (s) being of the VMSA II’s area of management
- Building brand-new waterborne craft
- Dealing in catering industry such as hotel and tourist business
- Taking part in operations of search & rescue at sea
- Carrying out operations combined with other competent authorities to ensure navigation safety, environmental protection and national security.
- Execution of other functions and tasks assigned by Viet Nam Maritime Administration.

- The berth can accommodate 1000-ton vessels
- 2-ha premises of storage yard
